Getting enough sleep is a vital aspect of any healthy lifestyle. But it's tough to ensure that.

According to Sleep Health, sleep-related problems affect tens of millions of Americans every day, and the New York Times reported that as many as "20 to 30 percent of people in the general population sleep poorly." Sleeping in general can be difficult, but falling asleep is a particularly tough problem to solve. For some people, calming music can help lull us to sleep — including some videos on YouTube.

Here are our favorite YouTube videos to fall asleep to.

"Celestial White Noise"

This 10-hour long ambient video is simple, soft white noise. You can put it on in the background and it'll run through your entire sleep.

"Oldies music playing from another room and it's raining with thunders"

This video is precisely what it sounds like: sweet oldies music playing softly, with rain and thunder playing over it. The channel, Nemo's Dreamscapes, has plenty of other videos just like it that are perfect for falling asleep or just putting on before bed.

"3 Hour Sleeping Music, Relaxing Sleep Music, Calm Music, Deep Sleep Music, Sleeping Music"

If you prefer ambient sleeping music, this might be more up your alley than "Celestial White Noise" or "Oldies music playing from another room and it's raining with thunders." Think of the music you might hear during a calming yoga class — that's what you'll get here.

"Relaxing Rain and Thunder Sounds, Fall Asleep Faster, Beat Insomnia, Sleep Music, Relaxation Sounds"

For pure rain relaxation, try this video by Jason Stephenson - Sleep Meditation Music. It'll stay on for three hours, giving you plenty of time to slip into a deep sleep.

"ASMR Almond Oat Milk Mask (Stirred/Application) Pampering Personal Attention"

Some people prefer to hear ASMR to relax themselves and fall asleep, and Karuna Satori does plenty of that for her more than one million subscribers.

"ASMR getting you ready for bed 🌙 skincare, brushing, massage, rain 🌧"

This video is specifically for getting ready for bed, and it lasts about an hour. It's ideal if you want some ASMR to calm you and comfort you as you reach slumber, but don't necessarily want a video to be playing all night long.
