Whether you're chugging along with an old phone or you're just itching for some new tech, a new smartphone is always a good idea, especially if you're a heavy user. But they can be super expensive to keep up with, and if you have to have a new model each year, you're probably shelling out a lot of cash. You might want to instead pick up refurbished models, which get you a new phone experience for much less cash. And thanks to this Woot deal, you can get a great new Google Pixel phone for an excellent price.

The Pixel 8 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, powered by the Google Tensor G2 processor. Paired with 12GB of RAM, that's more than enough giddy-up to handle just about any task you can throw at it. It also features a 50MP camera and a 5,050mAh battery, which gives you plenty of time to use it.

Mashable's Alex Perry praised its AI feature set as well as photo editing capabilities. Perry also appreciated its battery life, though did note that this model, a step up from the Google Pixel 7 Pro, is mostly comprised of incremental upgrades.
